Sarah Arnolds

Katrina

Sarah Arnolds graduated in 2014 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie with a major in Image & Language. Ze writes film scripts, poetry and stories, worked for De Gids and now works for Elle. In 2015/2016 she participated in the Slow Writing Lab, the talent development trajectory of the Nederlands Letterenfonds. Last year she joined the Das Mag summer-camp. There she stood out, so this year Das Mag asked her to write a story for the Das Mag Sampler, a collection of short stories written by young and promising talent. Dutch newspaper De Standaard called her story Niet klagen (don’t complain), in which a b-actrice locks herself in her room, where she googles herself while eating cupcakes until she is abducted by her movers, “a wittily told, intriguing but wonderfully undirected nightmare”. The latest news is that Sarah Arnolds is going to write her debut novel at Das Mag Publishers.
