Students of the Esloo College, Rijswijks Lyceum and GSR will meet Crossing Border artists and recite their own poetry during the festival’s end presentation.

Music and poetry are inextricably linked, and are constantly influencing one another. Together with the students, we set out to explore the musicality of poetry and spoken word in a series of classes, where we collaborated with musicians and poets who will perform at the festival. The students become acquainted with the music of the Rotterdam band Lewsberg, lyrics by debutante Sarah Arnolds, and the Poezieboys with Vinkenoog. They won’t just see the texts on paper; they will see them performed as well, and they will share this with a resounding enthusiasm on November 2!
